American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys

The American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys (ABPLA) the only organization approved by the American Bar Association to offer certification in the areas of Legal Malpractice and Medical Malpractice, has announced Beth H. McMasters, has successfully completed her examination and is now a Board Certified Diplomate of the ABPLA.

Certification by the ABPLA in medical malpractice provides a measure of assurance to the public that the attorney has in-depth working knowledge of the complex legal issues of professional liability. This designation is earned by completing a rigorous approval process including an examination in the specialty area, peer review (three attorneys and three judges) and documented experience. Diplomates of the ABPLA have demonstrated superior knowledge, skill and integrity in their specific field and have taken the extra step to certify their accomplishments.

Beth McMasters of the McMasters Keith Butler, in Louisville, Kentucky is now a Certified Diplomate of the ABPLA. Beth McMasters, has practiced Medical Malpractice for almost twenty years and focuses her practice on medical malpractice defense, insurance coverage, and product liability defense. Beth McMasters is a graduate of Bellarmine University (B.S., 1987, Nursing) and the University Of Louisville School Of Law (J.D., 1994). She has been a resident of Louisville, Kentucky for forty-seven years.

ABOUT THE ABPLA:

The ABPLA, organized in 1972, is the only entity accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA) to certify attorneys as specialists in the areas of medical malpractice and legal malpractice law. The ABPLA is comprised of some of the most experienced and successful Professional Liability Attorneys in the country, and have extensive training and knowledge in the areas of legal and medical malpractice. All Diplomates adhere to the principles set forth by the ABPLA and must pass a stringent peer review process as well as a written examination and make a certifying statement annually attesting to their qualifications to assure the public is provided with the proper tools in which to evaluate an attorney.
