Sara Collins Glogower

Sara Collins Glogower is a native of Pikeville, Kentucky. Sara graduated, cum laude, from Georgetown College in 2001, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. In 2004, she obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University of Kentucky College of Law, where she was honored to serve as a member of the moot court board. Following law school, Sara served as an Assistant Jefferson County Commonwealth’s Attorney, where she managed hundreds of felony cases and gained valuable trial experience. She remained in that position until 2008, when she was offered a staff attorney position at the Kentucky Court of Appeals. Under the direction of learned judges, Sara spent the next 4 years honing her legal writing skills and gaining a deeper understanding of the law. She returned to litigation in 2012, and joined McMasters, Keith, Butler, Inc. as an associate attorney.

Sara’s practice focuses upon medical malpractice defense, health law, and appellate advocacy. She is a professional member of the Kentucky Bar Association, the Louisville Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, and the Kentucky Defense Counsel. Recently, Sara co-authored “Consortium Damages in Kentucky: Past, Present, and Future,” a legal article published in Common Defense, a member publication of the Kentucky Defense Counsel. In her spare time, Sara loves to cook and enjoys entertaining family and friends at her home. She is also an avid UK fan. Sara and her husband, Kevin, are the proud parents of a young son.
